Delcam strongly recommends the 64-bit version because it allows PowerINSPECT to use the full memory and performance benefits of 64-bit Windows. However, some measuring devices are only currently supported by the 32-bit version of PowerINSPECT, and in these cases you will need to install the 32-bit version. |

Versions produced for Vista and W7 will quite likely continue to work on XP for some time to come but will not be maintained as Microsoft's support for XP expired in 2009. If bugs are reported on XP Delcam will test on Vista or W7, and if they can’t be reproduced Delcam will not be able to fix them: the only remedy available will be to update the operating system. | |
